Confidential Killings - A Detective Game

You play a detective investigating a series of murders among Hollywood actors, writers, and producers. Each case adds to a larger mystery about who is behind the killings.

Search illustrated crime scenes and examine people, objects, and documents to uncover clue words. Identify characters and use what you find to complete case statements about what happened and who was involved.

As cases unfold, connect recurring characters and events, reconstruct crime timelines, and follow the story through interludes such as interviews. The game also provides a notebook for recording your own notes.

Players who enjoy the game often praise its hand-drawn crime-comic look, noir atmosphere, and linked Hollywood murder story. Some appreciate its accessible clue-collecting and fill-in-the-blanks investigations, while others find the cases too easy and the process of repeatedly locating names or specific keywords tedious. Several reviews also describe the game as short.
