Capy Castaway

From the Devs

Capy Castaway is a cozy narrative exploration adventure where a capybara pup and a clever crow solve puzzles, help animal friends, and explore a mysterious island.

Play solo or together in a heartwarming story about friendship and home.

A Tale of Friendship & Belonging

After a flood sweeps several zoo animals far from home, a young capybara pup named Capy washes ashore on the mysterious Castaway Island where all sorts of objects, trinkets, and even other animals have become lost to time and space.

Here, Capy meets Corvi, a clever and chatty crow who becomes their voice, guide, and self-appointed “cool older sibling.” Together, they explore the island, befriend its colourful Castaways, lend a helping paw and wing, and uncover the story hidden beneath the island’s quiet surface.

Through exploration, kindness, and a little (or a lot of) mischief, Capy and Corvi slowly discover that the meaning of “home” may be bigger than they imagined.

Inspired by real memories and places from Toronto, Capy Castaway’s world blends cozy nostalgia with playful wonder.

Play as the Cutest Dynamic Duo

Meet Capy, a curious capybara pup with a nose for discovery, and Corvi, a mischievous young crow who always has something to say.

Capy can sniff, dig, and swim (and not to mention make sandcastles, eat snacks, and play music), while Corvi can fly, fetch items, and carry Capy to new, unreachable places!

Be playful, interact with everything and everyone, and approach each challenge in your own creative way. Your choices will shape the story, open new paths, and unlock multiple possible endings filled with emotions, surprises, and little moments of delight

Help or Don't, Your Choices Matter

Locals and fellow zoo Castaways can be found throughout your adventure, so you can also help out these lost animals or… don’t?

Give relationship advice, help friends find closure, search for lost items, or simply goof around. The way you play is up to you!

But be careful; your decisions matter, shaping both the story and the ending scenes based on how you interact with everyone on Castaway Island.

A Cozy Adventure for 1 or 2 Players

Play solo and control both characters, or share the journey with a friend in co-op mode! A special kind of camaraderie (and chaos) is unlocked when another player joins the journey with new ways to play and explore.

Capy Castaway is designed to be low-stress and welcoming for everyone, from longtime gamers to partners, families, or kids discovering adventure games for the very first time!

Meeting old and new friends alike, this heartwarming, narrative-driven adventure will transport players to a place that is both unknown and nostalgic as they explore a world inspired by memories of Toronto.
