You play as Qtie, a shut-in whose devotion to the fictional character Yunyun shapes her online life. Yunyun appears through Qtie’s monitor as the story follows their conversations and Qtie’s anonymous posts.
Play four-lane rhythm charts to a soundtrack of denpa songs—strange, catchy tracks that include original and licensed music. The story unfolds between rhythm stages.
After songs, collect cards and build character meters to generate conspiracy theories. These systems feed into story progression and a range of alternate endings.
In the supplied reviews, players who enjoy the game often praise its denpa song selection, colorful anime presentation, and playful nods to older Japanese internet and otaku culture. Some find the rhythm charts fun and approachable, while others criticize their depth and consistency. English-language reviews especially often complain that the translation diverges from the Japanese dialogue and references; some reviewers also mention that translation fixes have been made or are underway.

Q. Why did she become a hikikomori?
Q. How does anonymous online posting lead to world destruction?
Q. Does a happy ending exist for a degenerate otaku?
The answers to those “Q” s lie at the convergence of insanity and denpa psychosis.
Now, put those headphones on and become ill with Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis.
Get high on denpa songs and spread your heartful psychosis to everyone else!
・Qtie (CV:Nanahira)
The main character. A hikikomori. She suffered too much irl that she’s become a little (very) fuzzy in the head. Her obsessive love for the fictional character “Yunyun” is for sure an illness. Her overly “high” state from overdosing denpa songs causes her to propagate Yunyun love. Will there really be a happy end for such a degenerate otaku?
・Yunyun (CV:Haruko Momoi)
A fictional character that loves Qtie. A very much angelic devil. She will speak to Qtie through the monitor screen. Whilst the truth is unknown, most likely, she is just a figment of Qtie's imagination. It’s joever for her.
Q. What is a “denpa” song?
It is a genre of music that is intentionally strange and catchy. All playable songs in this game are denpa songs.
Many popular denpa songs such as “it’s a cherry kissing explosion” (Sakuranbo Kiss) and many more are featured!
