In the fantasy world of Eora, you play a Watcher: someone able to perceive souls and memories from past lives. As a crisis involving souls unfolds, you investigate its causes and meet people and factions with competing interests.
Explore towns, wilderness, and monster-filled dungeons, taking on quests and speaking with companions and other characters. Combat lets you direct a party in real time with pauses or in turn-based mode, using character abilities and tactical positioning to face enemies.
Create a character by choosing a race, class, and skills, then develop your party through abilities and equipment. Dialogue choices, checks, and faction reputation affect how characters respond and how quests unfold. You can also develop a stronghold that serves as a base and explore the dungeon beneath it.
In this helpfulness-selected sample, players often praise the detailed worldbuilding and writing, memorable companions, and choices that create difficult role-playing dilemmas. Tactical party combat is another recurring draw, while some players especially appreciate turn-based mode as a clearer alternative to real-time combat.
