You play as Captain Reyes, a pilot who takes command of a coalition ship and its crew in a war that spans the solar system. The campaign mixes ground combat with a range of missions against an enemy force.
Alongside the main missions, you can choose optional assignments, pilot fighters in space battles, board enemy ships, and fight in zero gravity. Missions provide opportunities to change your loadout and improve your equipment and ship.
Multiplayer is a fast-paced shooter with momentum-based movement, customizable combat suits called Rigs, and team-based unlocks. Zombies takes place in a 1980s amusement park, where players fight the undead, explore the park, and use perks, special weapons, power-ups, and other mode-specific mechanics.
