In a fictional, post-apocalyptic Eastern European state, you lead a military squad investigating a conspiracy that threatens the country. The story unfolds through a linear campaign of missions and exploration.
Move through hostile areas to search for weapons, biocrystals, ammunition, and supplies, then fight tactical, turn-based battles. Spend action points to move, attack, use abilities or items, and take cover; some encounters also let you sneak into position before combat.
Equip the squad with weapons and consumables, and use biocrystals to add abilities or improve attributes. Characters develop through their equipment and crystal-slot choices rather than a conventional experience-and-level system; you can adjust crystal combinations to shape their roles.
In this review sample, players who enjoyed the game often point to its tactical turn-based fights, experimenting with biocrystal combinations, and the dark environments.
