Skin Deep

You play Nina Pasadena, an insurance operative thawed from storage when space pirates board the cargo ships carrying her feline clients. She must deal with the intruders and get the cats to safety.

Explore each ship, search for clues and access codes, and use vents and ship systems to navigate. With limited equipment and little strength, Nina can distract or disorient pirates with found objects, then use the surroundings to incapacitate or remove them.

Missions take place on separate, themed ships with their own layouts, hazards, and objectives. Tools and supplies are gathered within each level rather than carried forward as a persistent upgrade loadout; you can choose how to approach objectives and replay completed levels.

Players who enjoy the game often praise its improvised, environment-based stealth: ordinary objects and ship systems can become tools for dealing with pirates, and missions allow different approaches. Reviews also regularly highlight the goofy humor and the charm of the setting. Some players, however, find the missions repetitive or the later levels more restrictive, while others wish the campaign were longer.
