In Aotenjo: Infinite Hands, you play a single-player Mahjong roguelike deckbuilder, assembling scoring hands to overcome threats and push deeper into Aotenjo. Its Mahjong-inspired rules and patterns provide the foundation for each run.
During rounds, you use drawn tiles to form combinations and patterns that earn points. Plan around the scoring rules while responding to boss conditions that can restrict which hands or tiles work well.
Between challenges, build a strategy with artifacts, gadgets, and tile changes: add, remove, or alter tiles, and improve patterns to shape future scoring. Different Mahjong rule sets and changing run rewards create varied ways to approach a run.
