Now fully rebuilt and remastered, Guild of Dungeoneering Ultimate Edition is a turn-based dungeon crawler with a twist: instead of controlling the hero you build the dungeon around them.
Developed by Gambrinous · Published by Gambrinous

You manage a guild of adventurers rather than directly controlling a single hero. Each run sends a dungeoneer into a dungeon, where they choose their own movements and fights.
Use cards from your decks to lay out rooms and place monsters, traps, and loot, shaping the route your hero can take. Combat is turn-based and uses cards, with equipment and class abilities affecting each adventurer’s approach.
Between runs, expand the guild by building rooms that unlock new adventurer classes and add more cards to your decks. Dungeons, quests, monsters, and rewards provide further challenges as your guild grows.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its unusual dungeon-building premise, whimsical art, humorous narration, and jaunty music. Some appreciate the simple turn-based play and short sessions, while others find the runs repetitive or drawn out, with random outcomes and uneven class performance making progress frustrating.
