STAR WARS™ Dark Forces (Classic, 1995)

You join the Rebel Alliance’s covert operations to investigate the Empire’s secret superweapon. The campaign sends you into Imperial bases and other locations to find clues and thwart the project.

This first-person shooter centers on combat with Imperial troops, machines, and other enemies using a varied arsenal. You also explore layered environments, jump and crouch through obstacles, and interact with switches, moving platforms, and other machinery.

Missions combine objectives with keys, puzzles, and hidden routes. Health, shields, ammunition, and lives shape survival as you search each level, while hazards such as darkness and moving machinery affect how you get around.

Players who enjoy the game often praise its layered levels, exploration, and puzzles, along with its Star Wars setting, story, and music. Many also appreciate the challenging classic shooter action and the nostalgia of revisiting it.
