Death Skid Marks is a rogue-like car combat game about what so many of us have experienced: a road trip to a music gig… only in this game, things get violent. The game uniquely blends top down arcade action and RPG mechanics.

You drive Route 666 on a dangerous road trip to a music concert, fighting hostile vehicles and other groups along the way. The journey is presented as top-down arcade car combat with role-playing and roguelike elements.
In battles, you steer, shoot, ram and use melee weapons while trying to keep both your vehicle and crew alive. You can buy weapons and special items, upgrade your car, and equip or improve crew members.
Each run brings encounters and enemies in changing combinations, with rising challenges along the route. Earn money through tasks and events, make choices about what to upgrade, and unlock additional vehicles and other content as you play.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its absurd, irreverent road-trip premise, car-combat options and punk-and-metal presentation. Some appreciate the changing runs, vehicle choices and crew-building decisions, while others find the combat repetitive or the difficulty and randomness frustrating.
