Space explorer Tommynaut and his blind, talking alien dog Beak-Beak are trapped inside a mysterious fortress. They explore it to uncover its secrets and find a way out.
The game is a point-and-click adventure built around examining rooms, interacting with objects, and solving environmental puzzles. Some puzzles use clues found elsewhere in the fortress.
Players can switch between Tommynaut and Beak-Beak as they progress through the fortress. The characters and environments are presented with stop-motion clay animation.
In this sample, players who enjoy the game often praise its handmade clay animation, unusual atmosphere, and the chance to explore its strange world. Some also enjoy the puzzles, soundtrack, and the Tommynaut-and-Beak-Beak pairing, with nostalgia for The Neverhood adding to the appeal for some. Other players find puzzles unclear or frustrating, and reports of bugs and save problems temper that praise.
