Killer Chat! is a satirical serial killer dating chatsim. Play as a (customisable!) writer as you pretend to be a serial killer, get inspiration for your book, fall in love and try not to call the cops through a whirlwind six months with your murderous beau of choice. What could possibly go wrong?

You play a customizable reporter and aspiring crime writer whose murder-related research leads to an invitation to a private chatroom for serial killers. To stay in the group and gather material for a book, you pretend to be one of them while trying not to be discovered.
Over six months, you interact with the chatroom's members through text channels, private messages, voice messages, and voice or video calls. You can set details such as your name, gender, appearance, username, profile, and status, and contribute some of your own writing in chat.
Your choices lead into one of four romance routes and branch toward eight endings. Each route follows a different killer and relationship, combining romantic scenes with threats and murder-related situations in a choice-based visual novel.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its eccentric cast, darkly comic romance, and chatroom format, which makes messages and calls feel like interactions in an online group.
