Train Sim World 6 puts you in the cab of passenger and freight trains on three routes: New Jersey’s Morristown Line, England’s Riviera Line, and the Leipzig–Dresden railway. Drive through suburban stations, coastal scenery, and German rail corridors.
Operate scheduled services by controlling each train, observing signals and speed limits, and making station stops. Random events can change a run, including delayed signals, temporary speed restrictions, and equipment faults that require attention.
Choose Free Roam to explore routes with your preferred trains, either alone or alongside scheduled traffic, or take Conductor Mode to check tickets and manage passenger doors. Photo Mode and Creator’s Club tools let you capture journeys and create custom liveries and train formations.
Players who enjoy the game describe a relaxed, absorbing way to drive trains and take in the scenery. Favorable comments point to detailed trains, the satisfaction of learning different controls and operating procedures, and the atmosphere of familiar or scenic routes; some also appreciate the tutorials and the added announcements. These positives appear alongside frequent criticism of performance, bugs, and how little changes between releases.
Embark on your next journey and discover the joy of train simulation. Be ready for anything as you master formidable trains across 3 new routes; from classic equipment to innovative multiple units, unlock new skills and expand your hobby - Expect the Unexpected in Train Sim World 6!
