Set in 1868 during the Industrial Revolution, the game follows Assassin twins Jacob and Evie Frye as they challenge Templar control of London and build a gang called the Rooks.
Explore Victorian London on foot, by parkour and grappling hook, or in horse-drawn carriages. Jacob favors direct brawling, while Evie specializes in stealth; you can switch between them in free roam and in many missions.
Take on assassinations and story missions, clear rival gang strongholds, and complete activities such as bounty hunts, child-labor rescues, and cargo robberies. Recruiting the Rooks, reclaiming districts, and improving characters and equipment provide ongoing progression.
