Kidnapped is a psychological story-driven horror game, featuring emphasis on exploration, puzzle solving and combat. Kidnapped dynamically changes as the player progresses, and aims to unnerve the player. Traverse a two hundred year old manor, dark damp caves, an eerie forest and more.

You play as Sebastian Lee, who wakes up alone after being kidnapped. Set in the winter of 1992, the story follows his attempts to uncover what happened and escape.
Explore a 200-year-old manor, caves, forests and other locations, examining, using and collecting objects. The world and its direction change as you progress, while dynamically appearing enemies—including wildlife and strange creatures—can threaten you.
Progress by finding items, solving puzzles and uncovering clues. Combat is possible with weapons you find, but the game casts you as prey trying to survive rather than a hunter.
The supplied reviews are mixed. Some players praise the unsettling atmosphere and slow-building tension, with one review also highlighting environmental storytelling, exploration and sound design. Another describes the first chapter as atmospheric but finds later locations less interesting, while a separate review criticizes the puzzles as tedious.
