You control a cursor defending a Y2K-inspired desktop from waves of viruses, adware, and other computer-themed enemies. The game combines survivor-style auto-shooter combat with a presentation built around an old operating-system interface.
Move through folders, dodge enemies and projectiles, and double-click files and folders to trigger events and earn rewards such as XP and keys. Tasks and optional policies add objectives and challenges to each run.
Upgrade weapons and stats during a run using drivers and plugins, then unlock more weapons, files, and other options through tasks and meta-progression. Five difficulty levels and customizable policies offer different levels of risk across runs.
