Gifts, Please

From the Devs

Your stamp decides everything. Approve — and grant a dream. Deny — and deliver a lesson. Welcome to the "Behavior and Delivery Verification Department," where Christmas miracles begin with bureaucracy.

Santa's magical workshop is not just about cozy ateliers and flying reindeer. It is a giant, perfectly tuned machine, and its heart is our office. And this year, luck has smiled upon you! In the midst of the main holiday rush, you, a simple packer, have been urgently promoted and placed at the most critical station: Junior Elf Controller. Now, in your hands are not just boxes, but destinies.

Your task seems simple: review each child's dossier and decide if they deserve a gift. But inside every folder lies a whole story, and behind every document is a chance to make a fatal mistake. Correct decisions will fill the sleigh with presents and raise your rating. Mistakes, however, will trigger an avalanche of complaints, fines, and could send you back to the assembly line for wind-up mice, demoted to a workshop elf. And if you mess up too much — Santa himself will call you in for an unpleasant talk.

BECOME A CHRISTMAS DETECTIVE

Your desk is your command post. Every morning, a new stack of cases grows on it. You face meticulous but engaging work:

• Scrupulous Document Analysis: Each folder contains a whole set: a touching letter from a child with a wish list, an official behavior card (good/bad actions), a registration form for notes, a suspicious "passport", a dreaded naughty list, and the final document with Santa's stamp. Sometimes, additional certificates or angry complaints from neighbors appear.

• Detailed Cross-Referencing: Do the name, surname, and age match across all papers? Has this "little angel" slipped into the black list? Does the "goodness level" correspond to the requested gift? Every discrepancy must be found and noted.

• A Difficult Ethical Choice: After verification comes the moment of truth. Press one of the buttons and determine the fate:

  • APPROVE SHIPMENT — give the child a holiday.

  • SEND CORRECTED VERSION — replace a dangerous or unsuitable gift with a safe alternative.

  • DENY (COAL) — teach a strict but fair lesson.

  • DO NOT SEND GIFT — leave without any attention in special cases.

FACE CHALLENGES AND DILEMMAS

The routine of checks will quickly give way to real detective investigations and moral trials:

• Forgeries and Deception: Some young schemers will try to outsmart you! Stay vigilant: forged parent signatures, photos that don't match the description, and ingenious attempts to erase themselves from the naughty list.

• Situations With No Right Answers: What to do with a child who behaved terribly but sent a sincere letter of remorse? What if a perfect child dreams of a gift strictly forbidden by safety rules (like a live dragon)? Should you send a gift to an address with an obvious error, risking a schedule breakdown?

• Increasing Complexity: Each day, there are more documents, the rules become more complicated, and the children more inventive. Will you be able to maintain efficiency when twin look-alikes, secret codes in letters, and contradictory instructions from different elf superiors come into play?

KEY FEATURES:

• A unique Christmas setting in the spirit of the cult game "Papers, Please": experience the magic and bureaucracy from within.

• Deep and tense document verification gameplay where every detail matters.

• A progression system with severe consequences: Your decisions directly affect your rating, salary, and career. Want to decorate your nook with new trinkets or get a promotion? Work flawlessly.

• Dozens of unique children's stories, each with its own character, desires, and secrets.

• Atmospheric pixel art that conveys both the cozy warmth of the Christmas workshop and the cold severity of the clerk's desk.

• A dynamic soundtrack, ranging from calm melodies for methodical checking to tense themes for deadlines and audits.

Merry Christmas, Elf Controller. Remember: you are not just stamping papers. You are weighing actions on invisible scales, deciding what to believe, and distributing the most valuable thing — hope. Can you handle this magic?
