You play as a man searching a Wonderland shaped by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. Its familiar storybook figures appear in a dark, unstable world, where the journey to find Alice unfolds through encounters with its inhabitants.

Explore a sprawling network of maps, meet characters, uncover secrets, gather souls, and grow stronger. Death sends you back to the last bonfire rather than ending the journey. The SEN system links your choices to the state of the world: killing NPCs lowers SEN, which can change the music and dialogue and reveal things that were previously hidden.

Combat uses a tactical Active Time Battle system, with weapon skills, equipment, and character builds shaping your approach to enemies. The story supports multiple endings and repeated cycles, with new details and paths to discover on subsequent playthroughs. The release includes content from all three DLCs.
