Lara Croft travels into the Siberian wilderness in search of the lost city of Kitezh and evidence tied to her father's research. A secretive organization called Trinity is also pursuing the ancient mystery.
Explore large, connected regions, climb cliffs and ruins, and navigate dangerous terrain. You can stalk enemies through camps or confront them with bows, firearms, traps, and explosives, while optional tombs challenge you with environmental puzzles.
Hunt animals and gather resources to craft ammunition and improve weapons and gear. Skills and equipment upgrades develop Lara as you progress. The 20 Year Celebration edition also includes Croft Manor stories, additional tomb and survival challenges, and online co-op Endurance.
Reviewers frequently enjoy exploring the Siberian environments, searching for secrets, and tackling the optional tombs and their puzzles. Many also appreciate the mix of stealth, combat, climbing, and crafting, as well as the game's visual atmosphere. Reactions to the story are more divided, and some reviewers find revisiting areas or completing optional content tedious.
