We Love It's Guide to…

Creator Chronicles

A developer has been pulled into their own game, and you play as the guild master trying to grow a village enough to return them to the real world. Recruit guild members with different combat roles and life-skills, then decide how to develop the guild and its settlement. Build and arrange village structures, expand farmland, and have members gather resources or make goods through activities such as farming, mining, fishing, alchemy, cooking, and blacksmithing. Sell goods to visitors or trade through the auction house, and use what you earn to expand the village and unlock more buildings and production. Form parties for automated dungeon battles and raids, prepare them with equipment and consumables, and use battle results to adjust skills and group composition. Members gain levels and gear from battles, while more advanced encounters call for larger groups. One review also describes a replay mode that carries over gold, unlocks, and relationships, with the original character available to recruit.

A developer trapped in their RPG runs a guild, builds a village, crafts supplies, and sends recruits into dungeons and raids.

1

A guild member can be both a dungeon adventurer and a village worker, with recruits assigned to activities such as growing herbs, fishing, mining, cooking, or brewing potions.

2

Use the auction house to shop strategically: pay more for an item you need right away, or look for an urgently listed item at a lower price.

3

Prepare parties for increasingly large raids, then study battle logs after a loss and change the party or its supplies before trying again.

A game within a game. In this entirely new kind of simulation RPG, become a guild master, develop your town, recruit guild members, and conquer dungeons. Every decision you make becomes your own chronicle.

Common Player Critiques

  1. Progress often feels repetitive and grind-heavy, with long waits or repeated production goals before unlocking new content.
  2. The interface and management controls are frequently described as clunky, with tedious manual tasks and party administration.
  3. Players commonly criticize the equipment system for automatically assigning drops without a clear way to store, swap, or distribute gear.
  4. Level restrictions, party-size changes, and limited ways to bring lower-level members along make roster progression frustrating for some.
