In the fantasy kingdom of Labyronia, powerful mages have risen to demigod status and upset the balance between factions. After a demigod is assassinated, the dying assassin accuses you of involvement, leaving you hunted as you try to uncover the truth and avert war.
The story progresses through exploration and investigation: search locations, speak with characters, question witnesses, consult archives, and follow up on clues. Quests often involve finding the right person or item to move events forward.
You also face RPG battles, using magic and skills against enemies. Inventory items play a role in solving quests, alongside conversations and puzzle-like investigation.
Some players enjoy the murder mystery, classic RPG atmosphere, pixel art, and soundtrack, and several appreciate exploring locations and investigating clues. Others find it difficult to work out what to do next, with item searches and repeated clicking turning progression into trial and error; combat, length, and overall depth also draw criticism.
