We Love It's Guide to…

Krater

Set in a far-future, post-apocalyptic Sweden, Krater puts you in charge of a team of freelancers exploring the caves and tunnels beneath a massive impact crater, where factions compete for control. Combat unfolds in real time from an overhead, RTS-like view. Direct a squad of three, select targets, use character abilities, and manage positioning as you fight through dungeon encounters. Quests take the team through settlements and ruins, alongside randomized dungeons and events. Scavenge loot and materials, then craft weapons, gear, and ability upgrades as your characters gain levels and abilities. Injuries can have lasting gameplay effects, and characters may die. The campaign can be played offline, while separate online co-op missions and bosses let friends bring rewards back to the main campaign.

Lead three mercenaries into a post-apocalyptic Swedish crater, fighting in real time, scavenging ruins, and crafting upgrades.
