We Love It's Guide to…

Deadlight: Director's Cut

Set in an alternate 1986, Deadlight follows Randall Wayne through the ruins of Seattle as he searches for his family after a zombie outbreak. The side-scrolling, 2.5D journey moves through abandoned streets and buildings filled with undead known as shadows. Traverse dangerous environments by running, climbing, jumping, and balancing, while solving puzzles and overcoming hazards. Encounters call for choices: fight with melee attacks or scarce weapons, or hide and use the surroundings to slip past the shadows. Find items that reveal details about the world and Randall’s past as the story unfolds. The Director’s Cut also includes a Survival Arena mode, where players face waves of zombies and use defenses and weapons to hold out.

In zombie-ravaged 1986 Seattle, survivor Randall searches for his family by platforming, solving hazards, and evading the undead.
