In the kingdom of Monares, you play an agent of the king sent to investigate the governor of Freymore's disappearance and the danger it may signal. Explore towns and wilderness from a first-person view, moving across a grid through forests, caves, lakes, and dungeons.

Take on a main story and optional quests, talk with inhabitants, and make choices that can affect how situations unfold. You can pursue different approaches, including breaking the law, and some assignments may put you at odds with one another.

Customize a character from five races and develop skills alongside weapons, armor, spells, and enchantments. Craft potions, repair equipment, pick locks, and explore for books, traps, and hidden entrances; inns also offer a card game with three decks.
