WorldDrive: Real Open-World Driving Simulator

From the Devs

Drive the roads you know — in a 1:1 real-world world.

Cruise through real cities, towns, and countryside recreated at true 1:1 scale, with roads and buildings placed where they exist in reality. No fictional “open-world streets” — just authentic locations you can explore at your own pace.

WorldDrive: Real Open-World Driving Simulator is a driving sandbox built around one simple idea: the real world is the map.

Whether you want a relaxing road trip, casual city exploration, or a safe way to practice everyday driving, WorldDrive is designed to feel familiar the moment you start the engine.

A Real World You Can Drive

WorldDrive replicates real locations using multiple real-world data sources to reconstruct:

• Road networks and intersections

• Real city layouts

• Buildings and urban structure

• Rural routes and regional roads

Early Access starts with a small region of Poland, with development aimed at expanding to all of Poland and later more of Europe.

Relaxing Free Roam, No Pressure

At launch, WorldDrive focuses on the core experience: start anywhere, drive anywhere, explore freely.

• No required objectives

• No grind-based progression

• Just driving, discovery, and atmosphere

Missions and driving activities are planned for later milestones.

Realistic AI Traffic & Road Rules

You’re not alone on the roads. WorldDrive features AI traffic designed to behave like real drivers and follow traffic rules.

• Realistic traffic flow

• Rule-based driving behavior

• Intersections, lanes, and signals that matter

Vehicles That Feel Different

Early Access includes 8 vehicles with varied handling and drivetrains, built for accessible “simcade” driving that still feels grounded.

Expect a mix of:

• FWD / RWD / AWD

• Hatchbacks, SUVs, sports-oriented cars, and more

Driving options:

• Manual transmission with clutch

• Automatic transmission

Features at Launch (Early Access)

• Real-world region of Poland to explore (over 50 km² at first)

• 1:1 scale map replication (roads + buildings)

• Free driving / open exploration

• AI traffic following traffic rules

• 8 vehicles with varied drivetrains and handling

• Wheel support

Planned During Development

WorldDrive is a long-term project, released in Early Access with clear milestones. Planned additions include:

• Expanded map coverage: more Poland → all Poland → Europe

• Missions and driving activities

• More vehicles

• Visual and world-detail upgrades

• Additional systems and quality-of-life improvements
