Party Jousting is a local party game for 2–16 players. Each player controls a quirky character and tries to joust opponents while staying airborne and avoiding rivals, walls, the ceiling, and other arena obstacles.
The controls are built around a single button for jumping. Players can use a shared keyboard or controller, and the game includes a selection of characters and arenas.
Matches are divided into five rounds. In each round, a player is eliminated after falling three times; the match structure centers on repeated bouts rather than longer-term character progression.
Several reviews describe Party Jousting as an easy-to-start game for friends sharing a computer, with silly collisions and chaotic matches providing much of the fun. A review also praises the character and arena variety. Criticisms include repetitive play, occasional unpredictability from physics or obstacles, and the lack of online multiplayer.
