Climb Thirty Floors
Barter With Neighbors
Learn From Each Death
It started in your foot. Now it’s in your head. All that remains is the command: GO UP. Meet strange neighbors. Make bad trades. Every ascent teaches you what you should have done differently.

An infection in your foot compels you to climb a strange, run-down, thirty-floor apartment building toward its roof. You play in first person, meeting residents whose requests and conversations offer clues, help, or complications.
Explore floors, search for useful items, solve access obstacles, and trade or complete errands for neighbors. Keep an eye on infection, hunger, thirst, and exhaustion as you decide how to spend limited supplies and where to go next.
The building, residents, and many item locations stay consistent between runs. Death resets your carried items, but what you learn persists: routes, useful trades, and key information can make later climbs quicker as you uncover more of the building's mysteries and possible outcomes.
Players often praise the building's oppressive, unusual atmosphere and the way its grim setting mixes unsettling horror with dark humor. Many enjoy learning the fixed layout and residents' needs across repeated runs, turning discoveries into faster, more informed climbs. Distinctive characters, visual style, and sound are also recurring highlights. Some players find the experience very short and question its value for the price, while others appreciate its focused length.
The only thought left is: GO UP.
The building has thirty floors. Your body has problems - hunger, thirst, exhaustion. The infection doesn’t care. It only wants altitude.
The foot keeps climbing. The rest of you is just trying to keep up.
The building is not haunted. The people in it are not monsters - and they want things. Junk. Food. Favors. Someone to do something mildly humiliating to their neighbor.
A few of them know things they shouldn't. None of them know they're describing the same thing.
You're the only one collecting the pieces.
The building is the same every time you climb it. The neighbors are the same. The trades are the same. The vending machine on the ground floor has the same stock.
What changes is what you know.
Every run, you learn something. A shortcut. A better trade. An item you didn't know mattered until the floor you needed it on. The building slowly starts to make sense.
You’ll know what to do next time.
But your foot isn’t waiting.
MOLDRISE features a full-length original soundtrack, composed by Mike Klubnika, creator of Buckshot Roulette, s.p.l.i.t., and Machine Party.
First-person survival horror. Retro aesthetics. A thirty-floor apartment building with no empty floors and no happy endings.
