Halo Wars: Definitive Edition is an enhanced version of the real-time strategy classic, Halo Wars, updated to run natively on PC. Halo Wars: Definitive Edition includes improved graphics, new achievements and all of the DLC created for the landmark real-time strategy game.

Set early in the war between the UNSC and Covenant, Halo Wars puts you in command of armies in a real-time strategy campaign. It tells a Halo story from the battlefield commander’s perspective rather than through a first-person shooter.
Build and upgrade bases at designated locations, generate resources, and produce infantry, vehicles, and aircraft. Direct your forces in battle, choose units to counter enemy forces, and use leaders with distinct abilities.
Play campaign missions, skirmishes, or online multiplayer battles. The campaign offers selectable difficulty levels, while skirmish and multiplayer let you command either the UNSC or Covenant; co-op is also available.
Players often enjoy Halo Wars as an approachable, fast-moving RTS that turns the Halo universe into large-scale army command. Reviews praise its campaign and cinematic story, its recognizable setting and audio, and the streamlined base-building and combat systems. Some also value its multiplayer and co-op, though several reviewers report that finding online matches can be difficult.
