Wizard’s Path: Palette of Spells

From the Devs

BUILD THE MAGE YOUR CHOICES CREATE

Wizard's Path: Palette of Spells is a fast-paced action roguelite where your spell choices determine the mage you become.

Fight through swarms of enemies, level up, and choose new spells and upgrades. At level 15, the game examines the build you have created and transforms you into a mage that matches your choices.

14 MAGIC TYPES. 470+ PLAYABLE MAGES.

Commit to a single magic type to become a pure specialist with much higher maximum spell levels, or divide your choices between two or three types to create a hybrid mage with greater spell variety.

Every mage has its own identity and passive abilities.

With 14 magic types and hundreds of possible build outcomes, there are more than 470 playable mages to discover. Some paths are straightforward. Others may require a more unusual approach.

RUNES REWRITE THE RULES

Equip and combine up to 3 runes to dramatically change how a run works.

Runes are more than small stat bonuses. They can reshape the fundamental rules of your build. One rune may reduce your healing to 10% and transform the remaining 90% into a Blood Nova that damages nearby enemies.

Combine several rule-changing runes and build around both their power and their consequences.

WORLD EVENTS CHANGE THE BATTLEFIELD

More than 10 World Events can unexpectedly alter the battlefield, introduce unusual rewards, or bring entirely new threats into your run.

Every defeated enemy might suddenly begin to explode. A mysterious Blood Stone may appear. A slime army may invade the battlefield. A Chronomancer may stop time and arrive to challenge you personally.

Even a champion from one of your previous runs may return as an enemy, carrying the power it gained under your command.

Some events are opportunities. Some are disasters. Others are strange encounters and hidden surprises best discovered for yourself.

REVIVE FALLEN MAGES

Graves left behind by other players can appear across the battlefield.

Revive the mage within, and they will fight beside you for a limited time. Their strength is based on the magic power that player reached in their most recent run.

A powerful fallen mage can turn the tide of battle—but they will not remain at your side forever.

PROVE YOUR BUILD IN ENDLESS MODE

Once your build becomes absurdly powerful, take it into Endless Mode and see how many enemies it can destroy before the run ends.

Enemies continue to grow stronger while you compete on the global leaderboard. Your result is also tracked for the mage you played, giving every mage its own record to chase.

Compare your broken build against other players’ broken builds and keep pushing for a higher kill count.

PERMANENTLY UNLOCK THE MAGES YOU CREATE

Defeat the boss after transforming into a mage to permanently unlock that mage.

In future runs, you can start as the unlocked mage from level 1 and build it from the ground up without waiting for the level 15 transformation.

Experiment with new magic combinations, discover hidden mage outcomes, survive unpredictable events, and create increasingly ridiculous builds.
