Absolver is an online multiplayer combat game where players are placed behind the mask of a Prospect under control of the Guides, the new rulers of the fallen Adal Empire, who will determine your worth in joining their elite corps of Absolvers.

You awaken in the ruins of the fallen Adal Empire wearing a mysterious mask, as a Prospect being tested by the Guides, the rulers of the land. Explore Adal and encounter other Prospects whose intentions may be friendly or hostile.
Combat revolves around four tactical stances, with attacks, dodges, blocks, and parries used to read and respond to opponents. Choose a fighting style and weapon, then arrange attacks in a Combat Deck to create your own chains and fighting approach.
Explore connected areas, battle roaming fighters and bosses, and acquire gear and weapons. You can learn moves by defending against opponents’ techniques; online play also offers duels and arenas, while cooperative PvE lets players take on enemies together.
Players who enjoy Absolver repeatedly praise its technical, customizable martial-arts combat: building a moveset, learning opponents’ attacks, and refining a personal fighting style are frequent highlights. Some also enjoy exploring the world and playing with friends. Reviews commonly note that the solo campaign is short, and many lament that the online population is now sparse.
