Critical Ward

From the Devs

Critical Ward

The hospital is at its limit. So are you.

Critical Ward is a fast, addictive and 100% arcade survival experience, designed to turn every run from a seemingly manageable shift into a spectacle of absolute chaos.

Treat patients, build enormous combos, deploy automated medical equipment and create completely ridiculous builds as the hospital fills with contagious patients, disruptive relatives and events capable of destroying your strategy in seconds.

The better you play, the stronger your build becomes. The stronger it becomes, the harder it is to keep it alive.

Master the chaos

Choose from characters with radically different abilities and playstyles, including specialists in healing, speed, crowd control, technology and strategies that completely transform the rules of each run.

Learn their strengths, complete their challenges and unlock new characters and ways to play through an old-school progression system with no microtransactions or paid shortcuts.

Huge combos. Absurd builds.

Keep your streak alive, stack powerful bonuses and turn a good run into an overwhelming display of power.

Turrets, prototypes, special items, skyrocketing stats and chained effects can transform the screen into glorious chaos. But a single mistake can erase everything you have built.

Distinctive pixel art, direct animations and a presentation inspired by classic arcade games. Every character, effect and explosion of chaos is designed to deliver an authentic old-school arcade experience.
