Anubis: Wrath of the Underworld

From the Devs

Anubis is an isometric action-RPG in the vein of Diablo, set in the ancient Egyptian underworld. You play not as a human survivor, but as Anubis himself—the guide of souls—confronting a disruption in the balance of the Duat and an uprising of forgotten gods.

The game focuses on tight melee combat, dodging, and strategic abilities rather than inventory micromanagement. Instead of hundreds of items, you discover and upgrade relics that radically alter your playstyle and enhance your skills.

Key Features

- Anubis in Combat

Control the God of the Dead himself: execute swift strikes, dashes, and finishers, and hold your ground against hordes of enemies.

- Hybrid Combat System

Combine basic attacks, area-of-effect moves, and Anubis’s unique abilities.

- Armor of the Underworld

Loot temple and tomb chests to find "Tears"—artifacts that boost abilities, add special effects, and allow you to customize your build to suit your playstyle.

- Enemies of the Duat

Battle reanimated mummies, clay golems, zombie warriors, priests of Set and Thoth, elite guards, and massive bosses inspired by Egyptian mythology.

- Diverse Locations (Episode 1)

Traverse canyons and desert plateaus filled with barricades and mutants, explore gloomy caves and tombs, make your way to an underground cultist laboratory, and face the episode's main boss in a dedicated arena.

- Modern Visuals Powered by Unreal Engine 5

Experience volumetric sand and dust, dynamic torch and magic lighting, dark temple corridors, and high-contrast combat in tight spaces. About the Demo and Episodes

A demo will be available soon, allowing you to try out the combat mechanics, encounter several enemy types, and experience a portion of the first episode's content.

The campaign's first episode offers approximately two hours of gameplay for a first playthrough; it is a complete story featuring an introduction, several combat zones, and a final boss battle. We plan to continue developing the game—adding new locations, enemies, relics, and chapters of Anubis's story—based on player feedback and support.
