A mysterious blast leaves a shuttle on its way to Mars in darkness.

Patty has just regained consciousness with no memory of what happened. Speaking through the shuttle's security cameras, you establish contact and work together to understand the situation as she explores the room, interacts with her surroundings, and searches for a way forward.

NPCs That Think and Act

But Patty is not a traditional NPC.

Powered by Large Language Models, autonomous AI characters can observe their surroundings, remember past events, reason about new situations, make independent decisions, and interact with the world around them. They can explore the environment, examine objects, operate equipment, solve problems, and carry out actions based on their own understanding of the situation.

There are no scripted dialogue trees or predefined responses. Conversations, decisions, and actions emerge naturally as AI characters perceive new information and adapt to changing circumstances.

You're not the only one they can interact with. Autonomous AI characters can communicate with each other, exchange ideas, challenge one another's conclusions, coordinate their actions, and solve problems together in real time, creating dynamic situations that were never explicitly scripted.

Instead of selecting dialogue options, you communicate freely using natural language. Your conversations influence how AI characters think, what they decide to do next, and how the story unfolds through their actions as well as their words.
