On Halloween Eve, Amelia, a pumpkin maid accompanying the young witch Charlotte, becomes separated from her in a cursed mansion. You play as Amelia and explore the house in search of Charlotte.

Move through the mansion, inspect rooms and objects, collect candy, and solve puzzles to make progress. Spooky encounters, hazards, and occasional timed challenges add variety to the exploration.

The adventure has multiple endings, including nine dead ends, as well as normal and true endings. After reaching a normal or true ending, you can access a hidden extra room; a new outfit is available on a second run.
