The memories of a fallen civilization are trapped in a field of hostile hexes. Every node is a deterministic auto-battler combat puzzle. Read the encounter, assemble your loadout, and deploy.

Once combat begins, the battle plays itself. Your character and enemies automatically execute their skills and combat rules until the fight is decided; there are no mid-battle commands. Your decisions happen before the fight: which skills, passives, artifacts, gear, damage types, delivery methods, and status effects you bring.

EmergenHex is about understanding systems, not rolling for luck. The same build always produces the same combat result, so defeat is information: inspect the forecast, understand what failed, change your build, and deploy again.

Resistances, immunities, auras, composition rules, adaptive enemies, and multi-phase bosses force you to build specialized answers instead of relying on one universal setup.

Conquered memories generate Exploration Points while you plan. After proving a victory, assign one of six independent loadouts to automatically farm conquered encounters; even while you are away. Return, collect what your builds earned, and invest those resources into stronger readings.

The Second Reading transforms the map with new encounter rules, three additional ranks, new resources, and a final confrontation hidden beyond the first conclusion.
