Lead a fellowship of three Middle-earth heroes through story-driven quests against Sauron’s forces. Play solo or cooperate with a friend as you travel through familiar locations and face varied enemies.
Build a deck around each hero’s abilities and one of four spheres—Leadership, Lore, Spirit, or Tactics—which determine the reinforcement cards you can use. During turn-based encounters, choose how to use your cards and heroes’ powers while managing the growing threat of Sauron.
The Definitive Edition includes three campaigns, each with its own quests and challenges, plus the Mirror of Galadriel mode, which offers randomly generated quests. Experiment with different decks and strategies as you progress and unlock cards and other rewards.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its tactical deckbuilding and the many choices involved in shaping and playing a deck.
