Griftlands is a deck-building roguelite where you negotiate, fight, steal or otherwise persuade others to get your way. Every decision is important, be it the jobs you take, the friends you make, or the cards you collect.

Griftlands follows three playable grifters—Sal, Rook, and Smith—in separate campaigns across the harsh sci-fi world of Havaria. Each has a distinct story, map, and set of character-specific mechanics.
Take jobs, explore locations, and resolve encounters through turn-based combat or card-based negotiations. You can also hire mercenaries, enlist companions, and choose whether to spare or defeat opponents.
Build separate decks for battle and negotiation by drafting cards and gaining upgrades and items. Your choices can affect relationships with characters and factions, bringing help or hostility in later encounters; runs also feature changing events and challenges.
Players who enjoy Griftlands often highlight its unusual pairing of combat and negotiation decks, along with its character-led campaigns and choices that affect relationships and later encounters. Art and worldbuilding also draw praise. Others find that runs and dialogue become repetitive, or that the deckbuilding offers less variety than they hoped.
