In the war-torn Aurelia sector, command one of six factions in a campaign that follows the same conflict from different faction perspectives. Each faction brings its own heroes and units to the fight.
Battles center on managing squads rather than building a traditional base. Use cover, positioning, and unit abilities to outmaneuver enemies, and recruit additional forces during missions.
Develop your heroes by improving their gear and abilities, and unlock units as the campaign progresses. Outside the campaign, choose from multiplayer modes, including Last Stand, where heroes face waves of enemies.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its faction variety, tactical squad combat, and hero customization. Last Stand is a recurring favorite for its wave-survival format and different hero builds. Some players find the campaign repetitive across factions, so its replay value is not equally compelling to everyone.
