Rescue Through Storms
Join a world where you design, create and pilot your own air sea rescue service. Release your inner hero as you battle fierce storms out at sea to rescue those in need.
Developed by Geometa · Published by Geometa

You run a search-and-rescue service in an open world of oceans, islands, and remote facilities. Build block-based vehicles—such as boats, helicopters, aircraft, and submersibles—and configure their systems with in-game logic or Lua.
Test your creations on land, at sea, and in the air as you respond to missions. Activities include rescuing people, fighting fires, repairing oil rigs, and transporting cargo. Dynamic weather and waves put vehicles to the test, and missions can be created and shared.
Creative mode provides tools for building without survival restrictions. In career mode, complete missions to earn money, manage resources, and expand your service with new bases and components. Cooperative multiplayer supports missions with friends, and vehicles can be shared through the Steam Workshop.
Players who enjoy the game often praise the freedom to design many kinds of vehicles and the depth of building and logic systems. They describe testing, troubleshooting, and improving a creation until it works as especially rewarding, and some enjoy using Workshop vehicles or playing with friends. Reviews also frequently mention a steep learning curve and performance or multiplayer frustrations.

| Multiplayer | Stormworks: Build and Rescue supports single-player, online co-op, and online PvP. Official store text says players can join friends in cooperative multiplayer to operate multi-crew vehicles and complete missions together. Reviews repeatedly describe dedicated servers and general online multiplayer, and one review states support for 32 players including host. Multiplayer building appears limited, with multiple reviews stating only one person can edit a vehicle at a time. |
| Multiplayer & mods | Steam Workshop sharing is official, letting players share vehicles and missions. Reviews also mention mods, add-ons, environment mods, and component modding; one review says mods can increase multiplayer lag, and another suggests using minimal mods for MP saves. No source states special multiplayer-only mod support beyond shared content and general modding. |
