The story follows a French Templar and a noblewoman declared a heretic as they investigate mysteries surrounding the Templar Order and the Holy Grail. Their journey draws them into a conspiracy involving powerful opponents, including King Philip IV of France and the Inquisition.
Play through a structured campaign of third-person melee encounters, using attacks, combos, blocks, and character abilities against groups of enemies. Experience earned during the adventure lets each hero develop skills, while unlocked combos add options in combat.
Explore a series of medieval European locations, search levels for secrets and collectibles, and take on bonus objectives. In solo play, switch between the two heroes while the other is controlled by AI; a second player can join to control that companion in co-op.
