In a cyberpunk city, Supercontinent Ltd is preparing a program meant to eliminate painful emotions from society. A clandestine club’s bartender and a freelance hacker investigate the company’s plans, alongside an empathy android and people connected to the project.
As the bartender, read customers’ moods and mix cocktails to influence their emotions and draw out information. At a high-tech lathe, shape genetic implants designed to affect influential executives’ attitudes. Phone sequences let you impersonate corporate figures and use their motivations to uncover more of the scheme.
Dialogue choices and gathered clues guide conversations and investigation paths, while recurring decisions raise questions about happiness, free will, and who gets to define a better society. The experience combines these story choices with short hands-on activities and puzzle-like information gathering.
In the supplied reviews, players often praise the thoughtful questions about technology, emotion, and human choice, as well as the story’s emotional impact and memorable characters. The pixel art and soundtrack also help create a moody cyberpunk atmosphere. Opinions differ on how well the story handles its themes and choices; recurring complaints include the short length and awkward controls, especially in pottery sequences.
