Ember and Rime are two souls in love but separated by an enigmatic force. Play as both characters, alone or with another player, as they travel through distinct fantasy realms. Each character affects the environment differently through heat or cold. Keep water liquid to pass beneath it or freeze it into a crossing; use other elemental effects to change platforms and clear obstacles. Explore non-linear levels that introduce new puzzle mechanics, and collect scarves to open doors to further areas. The characters’ progress through the realms unfolds alongside their story.
