Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection brings together six classic titles in one game: Mega Man Zero 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent. The collection also features Z-Chaser, an exclusive new mode created just for this set of games.

This collection brings together Mega Man Zero 1–4, Mega Man ZX, and Mega Man ZX Advent. In the Zero games, you play as Zero, a sword-wielding hero fighting through a science-fiction world. The ZX games introduce other protagonists and let you take on different forms with distinct abilities.
Across the games, you run, jump, dash, and fight through side-scrolling stages, taking on enemies and bosses with melee and ranged weapons. Mission performance affects rankings and, in some entries, access to special skills. Upgrade systems vary across the series, including collectible Cyber-elves and the forms and abilities used in the ZX games. ZX and ZX Advent also feature connected-area exploration.
The collection includes an artwork gallery, music player, filters, and Z-Chaser, a leaderboard-based time-trial mode. Casual Scenario Mode and Save Assist offer easier play options, with Save Assist adding checkpoints.
Players often praise the Zero games’ fast, satisfying combat, challenging stages and bosses, and memorable music and story. Several also appreciate Save Assist for making the difficulty more manageable. Opinions on the ZX games vary, while limited control remapping and missing in-game translations are recurring complaints about the collection.
