You play as the chief of a Native American tribe resisting the spread of settler settlements across a large frontier. Explore the open world, facing hostile people and animals as you work to reclaim territory. Approach settlements through stealth or combat: scout patrols, use tools such as traps and bait, and raid forts or camps. You can also hunt, gather resources, and craft weapons and supplies. Develop camps and settlements, direct warriors to gather, craft, or attack, and lead a war party yourself. Meanwhile, the opposing forces expand across regions, creating a strategic contest over territory and infrastructure.
Lead a Native American resistance, sneaking into settlements, disrupting settler expansion, and managing camps across an open frontier.

Players who enjoy the game often point to its unusual frontier-resistance premise, freedom to choose stealth or combat, and the added strategy of developing camps and directing warriors. Some also praise exploration, atmosphere, and the challenge. Reviews are divided: many describe bugs, difficult systems, and an unfinished or unsupported state as major barriers to enjoying those ideas.
