After the Old Empire falls, rival factions struggle for control of a vast desert. You play a customizable hero in story or sandbox mode, choosing a path through a world shaped by changing faction conflicts.
Travel between settlements and points of interest, take quests, recruit heroes and troops, and explore dungeons for bosses and loot. Battles use top-down action combat, with your hero’s skills alongside the troops you lead.
Develop your hero through skill trees and improve squads along troop upgrade paths. Build relationships with factions, make alliances or declare war, capture and manage cities, and continue your campaign through different characters and runs.
