L.A. Noire

Set in post-war Los Angeles, the game follows LAPD officer Cole Phelps as he advances into detective work. Across cases and police departments, he investigates crimes while encountering corruption and criminal schemes throughout the city.

At crime scenes, search for clues and gather evidence, then question witnesses and suspects. During interviews, study facial expressions and compare testimony with what you have found to judge whether someone is telling the truth or hiding something.

Cases are linked by a larger narrative and unfold as Phelps moves through different departments. Driving around Los Angeles connects investigations, while pursuits, fights, gunfights, street crimes, and other action sequences break up the detective work.
