You play as one of the Dragonblood Clan survivors, who forge a pact with the Astral Dragon Atruum to gain power and seek revenge on the Kingdom of Medius, which destroyed their home and captured Oracle Amica. Play solo or join up to three others online.
Take missions from villagers and travel through side-scrolling stages to fight enemies and bosses, search for hidden treasure, protect passengers from monsters, and undertake rescues. How you perform on quests can affect the final outcome.
Choose from four starting characters, with Oracle and Bandit unlocked through in-game conditions. Earn experience, level up, allocate points to character stats, and equip gear. Distinct movesets and elemental powers let you shape each character's approach to combat.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its distinct character playstyles, satisfying action combat, and the range of builds and equipment to experiment with. Some say playing with friends brings out its appeal, while others enjoy the solo story and pixel art. Criticism often centers on repeated missions and lengthy late-game grinding; several players also report difficulty finding online partners or problems with controls and multiplayer performance.
