This two-game mystery follows rookie lawyer Ryunosuke Naruhodo in late-19th-century Japan and England. Across ten murder-mystery episodes, he works to uncover the truth behind individual cases and a wider criminal conspiracy.
Investigate crime scenes, speak with witnesses, examine clues and evidence, and work out what happened. In court, listen to testimony, cross-examine witnesses, and present evidence to challenge the prosecution.
The courtroom adds jury debates, while investigations include deduction sequences with Herlock Sholmes. Clues and story threads carry across both games, and an assistance feature can help when you hit a dead end.
