This collection follows prosecutor Miles Edgeworth as he investigates crimes outside the courtroom. The two games center on his encounters with witnesses, suspects, and other familiar and new characters.
Walk around crime scenes, examine objects, gather clues, and question people involved. Compare testimony with evidence to uncover contradictions, then combine related clues through logic deductions; the second game also adds Mind Chess, a dialogue-based way to press witnesses for information.
Cases build toward larger storylines across each game. The collection includes HD character art with an option to switch to classic pixel graphics, chapter select, autoplay, and an optional Story Mode that solves puzzles. A gallery lets players view artwork and animations and listen to the music.
Players often praise the connected case narratives—especially the second game’s buildup and payoff—and Edgeworth’s character development.
